Abstract

Invigorated wounded cuttings and non-invigorated wounded cuttings were significantly different over invigorated non-wounded and non-invigorated non-wounded cuttings in rooting at 5 per cent and 1 per cent levels. Wounding of invigorated shoots gave 77.00 and 75.00 per cent rooting and 46.00 and 66.00 per cent survival in 1974 and 1975 respectively (Table 1).
