Abstract

Studies conducted on six stionic combinations revealed that leaf Zn, Fe, Cu and Mn contents were in the optimum range and above except in case of Zn where Pectinifera showed lower values than optimum. Similar was the case with Pineapple on Troyer rootstock. Rootstock was not a limiting factor for micro-nutrient uptake but the interaction with scions was important. Jatti Khatti still showed its excellent performance for Blood Red and Cleopatra for Mosambi. Compbell Valencia as scion seemed to be the best choice under Haryana conditions for micronutrient uptake.
