Experiments were undertaken to study the heat units and photothermal units requirement on the flowering of Jathi Malli-Coimbatore clone (J. grandiflorum). Both heat units and photothermal units decreased as the pruning time was delayed. Highly significant positive correlation was obtained between the time taken for flower bud initiation and the requirement of photothermal and heat units.
