Abstract

Rot of banana caused by Botryodiplodia theobromae was almost completely controlled at concentrations of 1000 and 2000 ppm of aureofungin and 2000 ppm of brassicol when used as post-inoculation treatment. Captan and agrosan GN controlled the rot to a considerable extent. Citral and propionic acid were effective only to a limited extent even at the highest level of 200 p\.
