Studies on the Persistence of Herbicides in Sandy Loam Soils

While atrazine residues residues at both the concentrations were beyond detectable level on the sixth month, bromacil and diuron residues at 3 kg/ha persisted even after eight months. Bromacil residues persisted only on top 2.5 cm of the soil profile after six months of herbicide treatment under field conditions.
