Results of vine uniformity trial using variety Thompson Seedless trained to a bower system are reported. While a rapid fall in the coefficient of variation with the increase in plot size is noticed, the reduction by increasing plot size from 6 vines per plot is not appreciable. The relative information from this plot size also has a similar behaviour. The convenient plot size approach revealed that larger plot sizes with smaller number of replications would be preferable.
