Abstract

2,4,5-T (25 ppm) proved to the most effective treatment in reducing the drop which is 11.07 per cent less as compared with the control. The average fruit size and fruit weight was increased significantly with 25 ppm treatment of both NAA and 2,4,5-T. General decrease in stone weight was recorded significantly more in all the NAA treatments. The maximum increase in pulp was noted in 25 ppm treatment of both NAA and 2,4,5-T. The plant regulators increased significantly the percentage of total soluble solids. The acid content decreased under all the treatments of NAA and 2,4,5-T. There was no marked difference in Vitamin C and reducing sugars of fruits in all the treatments.
