Abstract

The physio-chemical characters of Perlette] Beauty Seedless, Thompson Seedless, and Himrod cultivars of grape were studied! at the Fruit Research Station, Bathinda (Punjab). It was observed that Perlette produced higher yield, heavier and larger bunches (Breadth only) than other cultivars. However, largest berry size and highest berry weight was recorded in Himrod. During 1981, Himrod registered significantly higher TSS but during 1982, it was high in Thompson Seedless. The organic acid content were minimum in Himrod during 1981 and in Perlette during 1982 but remained maximum in Beauty Seedless during both years.
