Abstract

The effect of different sample size (10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 leaves per sample) on the mineral composition of mango leaves was studied. A sample size consisting of 30 to 40 leaves was ideal for the analysis of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Cu, Mn and Fe. The leaves sampled from June, flush contained higher amounts of all the nutrients except N than the leaves sampled from March flush.
