Abstract

Effect of IBA concentrations was studied on production of roots through air layering in three commercial cultivars of apples and the bio-chemical aspect of rooting was also studied. It was concluded that 5000 ppm concentration IBA for Fanny and 7500 ppm for Early Shanburry and Rymer were found to be the best treatments. They produced cent per cent survival of rooted shoots.
