A comprehensive look on the information presented indicated that it may be advisable to undertake the high density planting of mango in view of stable performance of main crop, its induced growth and higher revenue in the initial years. The other systems do not appear to be feasible on account of unfavourable effects on the yield of main crop. However, the experiment provides the opportunity to work out the possible duration of growing interplanted crops and change in yielding behaviour in the following years. The need for ascertaining the performance of these systems under optimum fertilization is also warranted.
