Studies on the level of self-compatibility and incompatibility in cauliflower were conducted under the Chotanagpur (Bihar) agro-climatic conditions. Presence of fully self-compatible to self-incompatible forms were observed. The studies indicated good scope for undertaking varietal improvement programmes and also seed production on a commercial scale in Indian cauliflowers under the Chotanagpur region.
