Heterosis in 36 crosses of radish was studied for seven characters. Pusa Chetki × Giant Red was the best cross showing the maximum heterosis for plant weight, root weight, root length and root diameter, whereas second best cross was Pusa Chetki × Pusa Desi showing high heterosis for plant weight and root weight.
