Abstract

The experiment was conducted at Horticultural Experiment and Training Centre. Saharanpur from 1978–1980 with a view to find out the NPK content of leaves as affected by its age and position on the shoot in loquat cv. Large Round. There was no interaction effect on the NPK content of leaves due to their age and position on the shoot. However, the overall effect of both these factors was found to be significant. To assess the NPK status of a loquat plant, three month old leaves should be sampled from middle position of the shoot.
