Litchi panicles were sprayed with various concentrations of zinc sulphate, GA3 and NAA at different intervals. Fruit cracking in litchi was reduced significantly by the application of 25 ppm NAA and this treatment was the best. The application of 50 ppm GA3 proved better than those of zinc sulphate and the control. 1.5 per cent zinc sulphate spray had the lowest number of cracked fruits as compared to its other concentrations and the control.
