Abstract

Bell pepper (Capsicum) fruit yield increased with nitrogen fertilization linearly upto 180 kg N/ha. Phosphorus and potassium application did not affect the fruit yield. Application of 180 kg N and 50 kg P2O5 produced the highest yield of 83 q/ha. The analysis of nutrient and economic efficiencies indicated the possibility of going in for higher levels of N (more than 180 kg/ha) for realising higher capsicum yields.
