Experiments were conducted on screening of germplasm and chemical control of citrus canker in acid lime during 1983—1985. Seedless lime (Citrus latifolia Tanaka) was found free from infection whereas Lime Kama (rootstock) was resistant. Four sprays of Blitox or Bordeaux mixture alongwith 2 prunings were found effective in reducing the disease and increasing the yield. The average reduction in the above 2 treatments was 68.25 and 65.17 and increase in number and weight of fruits was 93.99 and 84.82 and 86.40 and 78.82 per cent, respectively. Cost benefit ratio was 1: 1,75 and I: 1.73 in Blitox and Bordeaux mixture, respectively.
