Seasonal changes in fruit growth in FJordasun and Nectarine Suured peach was studied. Fruit growth followed double sigmoid growth curve. The 1st phase of growth in both the cultivars were of 2 weeks only. The second phase of suspended growth where in only seed development took place, was of 2 weeks in Flordasun and was of 3 weeks in Nectarine Sunred. The third phase of rapid increase in fruit size was 3 and 4 weeks respectively in Flordasun and Nectarine Sunred. Chemical changes, Viz. T.S.S., acidity, Pectin, Ascorbic acid, starch and anthocyanin development have also been studied. From flowering to fruit harvest, Flordasun and Nectarine Sunred respectively required 68 and 89 days.
