Abstract

Three levels of N (50, 100, 150 g) with two levels each of P2O5 and K2O (25, 50 g) were applied to per plant per year age. Thus there were twelve fertilizer combinations with two plants unit and replicated thrice. Maximum tree height (2.42 m), stem girth (24.8 cm), tree spread North-South and East-West (2.8 m each) were recorded with N3P1K1 (150 g N 4- 25 g P3O5 + 25 g K2O). N3P1K1 treatment produced significantly more height and East-West spread over all other fertilizer combinations. However in the case of stem girth, it was non-significant only with N2P1K1, N2P2K1 and N2P2K2 combinations. Whereas the fertilizer combinations of (100 g N + 50 g P2O5 + 50 g K2O) produced the better yield and good quality of litchi CV. Calcuttia Late.
