The optimum N, P, K doses to maximise net returns in years of low and high potential yield of muskmelon (cv. Haramadhu) were derived using model building and Comptuer simulation technique. The optimum level of N varied from 50 to 75 kg/ha. There was increasing response with higher dose of P in all the years. The necessity and the dose of K to maximise net returns depended on the yield potentialities of the environment.
