Results of five years study on regulation of cropping in pomegranate variety Ganesh have shown that it was highly profitable to take Basta bahar crop under rainfed conditions. The plants did not have a long gestation period and started bearing just from second year of planting. At the age of five years, the crop have a net return of Rs. 20,000 per ha.
