Crosses among six different cultivars of mandarin (Citrus reticulata Blanco) produced seedlings, a majority of which had weak to vigorous plant girth, dvvarf to tall height, complct to medium plant spread and short to long internodal length. In all the crosses, the seedlings generally resembled one of the plrents or were intennediate. However, some of the seedlings in all the crosses showed heterosis for such characters. The seedlings showing resemblance to the pollen parent or having intennediate characters were considered to be of zygotic origin.
