Twelve elite acid lime orchards in Gujarat were surveyed for manurial practices and nutrient status in leaves to work out immediate recommendations for manuring of this crop in Gujarat. It was recorded that with the exception of P, level of which was exceptionally excess in leaves, the average value of all other elements like, N, K, Ca and Mg were in the optimum range as suggested by Embleton and his Coworkers, for citrus. Therefore, averge of nutrients applied by these farmers could be considered for recommendation for high production in acid lime and accordingly 1.40 kg N, 1.00 kg K per tree has been recommended while the dose of P which comes out to be 1.00 Kg per plant is required to be rationalized through experimentations.
