The experiment was conducted to find out the best method and optimum duration of budding for large scale multiplication of aonla plants. Shield gave poor success with respect to sprouting and ultimate survival, while patch showed better response followed by modified ring budding. Budding operation should be performed from mid May to mid August for better success which may be continued upto September with appreciable success.
