The effects of different planting densities (15, 40, 60 and 80 corms/m2) of gladiolus cv. ‘Friendship’ on growth, flowering and corm production were studied. With increase in planting density, growth and flowering attributes reduced. However, planting 40 corms/m2 was on par with control (15 corms/m2). The different planting densities had no significant influence on corm production.
