Leaves from six almond cultivars viz, Nonpareil, Dhebar, Katha, Merced, I.X.L. and Afghanistan Seedling raised on wild peach, behmi, and bitter almond rootstocks were analysed for N, P, K, Ca and Mg. Significant differences were obtained among rootstocks for N, K and Ca but not for P and Mg. Scion cultivars influenced the levels of all the macro-nutrients significantly. Scion leaves on wild peach tended to be high in N and Ca and those on bitter almond tended to be high in K and low in N. Katha leaves contained more P, K and Mg and less N and Ca than other scion cultivars. The interaction between rootstock and scion was found to be significant for N, K and Ca.
