Abstract

Response of three levels each of potassium sulphate (1, 1.5 and 2 per cent), calcium nitrate (1, 1.5 and 2) and zinc sulphate (0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 per cent) fed through foliar spray on yield and quality of guava cultivar Allahabad Safeda were studied. Maximum fruit-set, fruit retention and yield were obtained by foliar application of zinc sulphate 0.6 per cent. Increase in total soluble solids and vitamin c content and decrease in acidity content of fruit was also maximum under this treatment.
