The genetic divergence among fifty six genotypes'of c1usterbean was assessed using Mahalanobis D2 statistic. These genotypes were grouped into eight clusters including two single variety clusters. Genotypes of different eco-geographical regions were found to cluster together. The characters, namely, number of pods per plant and number of pods per cluster contributed maximum towards genetic divergence. Among the eight clusters, the clusters III and VIII showed high genetic divergence and hence the crossing between the types of these two clusters may result in the development of useful progenies.
