Using metroglyph and index score analysis, 38 diverse geographic lines of tomato were grouped into eight complexes to analyse the existing coupling variation. Out of eight groups, two were solitary while group I consisted maximum number of lines. The hybridization programme based on the study has been suggested which may prove fruitful.
