A rootstocks trial was laid out on sweet orange cultivar Mosambi budded on eight rootstocks, viz, Troyer citrange, Carrizo citrange, Rubidoux trifoliate, Pomeroy trifoliate, Rough lemon, Kodakithuli, Cleopatra mandarin and Rangpur lime. Tree growth was significantly higher in Troyer citrange followed by Rough lemon and Carrizo citrange. In general, increasing trend of yield was observed with Troyer citrange, Carrizo citrange and Rough lemon upto ninth year. The highest percentage of juice was recorded in Rough lemon. Rubidoux trifoliate, Pomeroy trifoliate, Cleopatra mandarin and Carrizo citrange rootstocks produced the maximum percentage of total soluble solids. Carrizo citrange proved as the best rootstock followed by Rough lemon and Troyer citrange.
