Classificatory analysis in cabbage
Abstract
Sixty genotypes of cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.), were studied during 1988–89 to gather information on classification of germplasm lines by means of metroglyph and index score analysis. There were six distinct morphological complexes obtained and within group variations were of a low order, Group 1, 3 and 4 consists of majority of the lines. However, high scoring varieties/lines includes in index scores of 17, 22, 18, 19 and 13 having earliness and good yielding capacity.
