The study was carried to find the economics of use of herbicides for weed control in ber orchard. The herbicides used were diuron (pre-emergence), glyphosate and paraquat (post-emergence). Each herbicide was used at 3 and 4 kg/ha. All herbicide treatments were economical over handweeding. However, the most economical weedicide was found to be diuron for ber orchard.
