Evaluation of F1 hybrid of muskmelon was carried out to assess the suitability of its cultivation in Bangladesh. Some hybrids were found to be promising in respect of yield and quality of fruits and resistant to diseases. The hybrids SM 12 and SM 17 were of medium to big fruit size, comparatively thicker mesocarp and early in respect of fruit maturity. Fruit yield and TSS were high in lines SM 12 and SM 17 and suitable for cultivation under Joydebpur condition in Bangladesh.
