A survey of apple orchards of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh was conducted to define the leaf nutrient ranges of plus Starking Delicious apple trees. The optimum nutrient ranges were found to be 2.43–2.65 per cent N, 0.173–0.203 per cent P, 1.34–1.74 per cent K, 1.29–1.47 per cent Ca, 0.41–0.62 per cent Mg, 28.5–44.9 ppm Zn, 73.1–94.1 ppm Mn, 350–482 ppm Fe and 17.2–24.3 ppm Cu.
