The effects of IBA at 0, 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 ppm in solution and Seradix B2 in powder form on the rooting of semihardwood cuttings of peach cultivars i.e. Floridasun, Shan-e-Punjab, Florida Red, Sharbati and TA-170 was studied. Rooting response of the semihardwood cuttings varied between 34.3 and 36.1 per cent in Floridasun, 22.7 and 39.2 per cent in Shan-e-Punjab, 26.9 and 33.4 per cent in Florida Red, 28.2 and 34.4 per cent in Sharbatiand 6.9 and 17.2 per cent in TA-170. IBA (1500 ppm) was the best treatment for rooting of cuttings in all the peach cultivars tested except TA-170 where 2000 ppm caused maximum rooting. In Floridasun, Shane-Punjab, and Florida Red IBA (1000 ppm) gave maximum plant height whereas in Sharbati and TA-170, IBA (1500 ppm) produced maximum plant height. Growth regulator treatments produced significant effects on the number and length of primary roots.
