Use of the polyethylene film covers around mango shoot in winter controlled malformation of panicles. Absence of malformation in panicles under polyethylene covers suggests that genesis of malformation in the panicles takes place in winter and malformation can be controlled by raising temperature around the panicles or orchard in winter. This method could also be useful for early crop production.
