Abstract

The double cropping system gave significantly higher yield over single cropping system. It was also observed that the treatments of medium and light pruning were at par, but gave 25 per cent higher yield over severe pruning. The application of different growth regulators gave significant differences in the traditional cropping system only. The treatment of heavy pruning significantly increased the weight of fruits than the rest of the treatments, Maximum TSS was recorded in light pruning treatment in all the cropping systems. Similarly, maximum TSS was recorded in the treatment GA3 (60 ppm). Highest CBR values were observed in the medium and light pruning.
