A two years study was conducted to ascertain the production potential of six genotypes of onion during kharif and rabi season under the mid hill conditions of Himachal Pradesh. The characters studied were bulb yield, bulb weight (g), bulb diameter (cm), plant height (cm) and number of leaves/plant. The genotypes Agrifound Dark Red and N-53 during kharif season, and Agrifound Light Red and Nasik Red during rabi season can be taken up for raising profitable crop of onion in mid hills of Himachal Pradesh.
