Abstract

The influence of 9 rootstocks, viz., Kama Khatta, Jambheri, Bhadri lemon, sour orange, Trifoliate orange, Kodakithuli, Troyer citrange, Rangpur lime and Cleopatra mandarin budded with Pant lemon-1 and own rooted cutting on the growth, yield and survival was studied between 1981 and 1989 under wet soil condition of Tarai. Plants on Jambheri and Trifoliate orange produced better growth, yield and survival during nine years of trial. Plants on Bhadri lemon and own rooted cutting grown plants of Pant lemon-1 performed poorly particularly during subsequent years.
