High heritability alongwith high magnitude of genetic advance in percentage of mean was recorded for gross weight of plant, net curd weight and curd size index. Curd angle exhibited high heritability and low genetic advance. Phenotypic coefficinet of variation were higher than the genotypic coefficients of variation for all the characters.
