Peach seedlings inoculated with Glomus fasciculatum and Azotobacter chroococcum showed that plant height, dry weight of shoot and root increased with inoculation of Azotobacter and G. fasciculatum alone as well as in combination with N and P. The dual inoculation had more synergistic effect on plant growth as compared to control. Similarly, the inoculation had a synergistic effect on the uptake of macro-nutrients which increased significantly. The interaction between biofertilizers and chemical fertilizers were significant.
