Abstract

The investigation was undertaken to study the effect of graded doses of nitrogen viz. 0,200,400,600 and 800g N/plant/year on growth, yield and quality of eight years old acid lime plants. There was significant increase in growth and yield of acid lime with application of 400g and 800g N with 55.52 kg, 73.66 kg and 81.81 kg fruit yield per plant respectively in second year. The leaf nitrogen content also increased with increasing doses of nitrogen.
