Abstract

Field experiments carried out to study the influence of NPK in pomegrante cv. Bassein Seedless indicated significant increase in plant height, trunk girth, fruit number and yield with the application of nitrogen upto 500 gms/plant/year. Likewise application of phosphorus at 500 gms and potassium at 250 gms/plant/year recorded significantly higher yields. Combined application of NPK at 500 gms nitrogen, 500 gms phosphorus and 250gms potassium/plant/year resulted in higher fruit yield. TSS also increased with application of N, P, K at 500 gms nitrogen, 500 gms phosphorus and 250 gms potassium/plant/year.
