Abstract

The prevalence of the Phytophthora foot rot disease varied from 8.3 - 45.3%. The maximum incidence of the disease in commercially grown citrus varieties was recorded on Jaffa Sweet orange at Maujgarh (38.9%) and Ramgarh (36.4%) villages, and on kinnow mandarin at Dhani Karnail Singh (18.9%) and Regional Fruit Research Station, Abohar (16.3%). Out of the three fungicides, namely, Aureofungin, Bordeaux Paint and Ridomil tested during March-April and July-August as paint against foot rot disease of kinnow mandarin, Ridomil significantly controlled the disease and increased the fruit yield.
