The distribution pattern of guava yield has indicated that the harvesting is spread over to four months starting from late August to early November with a plateau in September. Assuming that the plant yields follow normal distribution, number of plants falling into lower and higher 2.5% and 16% corresponding to mean ± 2SE and mean SE are also discussed. Out of 104 plants, the number of plants under high yield category identified were 15 only, which were consistent in producing good yields in all the three years. Distribution of yields into different months of harvest for three years indicated that September month recorded harvest of 77.47 to 82.55 per cent, respectively. The multiple determination values were above 90% indicating that with the help of September yield, it is possible to predict the total yield of the guava trees.
