Abstract

The experiments were conducted to find out the optimum dose of nitrogen (with and without inoculation) and phosphorus for optimum growth and yield under the conditions of western Uttar Pradesh. The starter dose of 20 kg N/ha + Rhizobium inoculation increased the growth, yield and yield parameters significantly. Similarly, phosphorus application (90 kg P2O5/ha) had a positive impact on increasing the growth, seed yield and yield attributes.
