Abstract

Studies were conducted on four citrus species, viz., C. reticulata cv. Khasi mandarin, C. madurensis (Calamondin), C. sinensis (Musambi) and C. limon (Assam lemon) to ascertain the optimum concentration of NAA required for rooting of microcuttings. Results revealed that NAA at 0.05 mg/l supplemented in the MS medium was best for all citrus species. However, for Musambi, best concentration was 0.2 mg/l.
