Abstract

Allison appears to be the best choice for the commercial exploitation as it is high yielding and possesses excellent flavour and fruit quality with lowest acidity which makes it more sweeter and tastier than the other cultivars. The only drawback is that it has lowest ascrobic acid content which can be improved through a suitable breeding methodology. Alternatively, the cultivars like Monty and Bruno could be improved further with respect to yield and low acidity so as to make it commercially viable.
