Application of 20 ppm TRIA and 500 ppm PP 333 significantly increased fruit set. Maximum suture length and cheek diameter was observed in fruits treated with 20 ppm TRIA. Both these growth regulators increased the flesh firmness indicating extended shelf-life. Application of 500 ppm PP 333 significantly increased sugars, soluble proteins, anthocyanin content and reduced acid content.
