Significant differences were observed in plant height, number of leaves per plant, dry haulm yield and tuber yield of potato due to fertility as well as growth regulator treatments, except number of leaves by plant growth regulators. It could be concluded from the results that potato crops requires 200-100-200 kg NPKVha under middle Gujarat conditions (sandy loam soil). For improving yield potential, crop should be sprayed with cycocel 500 ppm concentration. GA failed to show positive response.
